Calendula is a fast-growing annual plant that originates from southern Europe. It thrives in temperate regions globally, reaching heights of 30-60 cm with soft, slightly hairy green leaves. The plant produces large daisy-like flowers in shades of yellow to deep orange throughout its growing season. These flowers are typically harvested when fully open to preserve their vibrant color and delicate layered petal structure.

The blossoms have a soft, slightly tacky texture and a subtle floral scent. Their broad petals form a distinctive pattern around a central disc. When dried, the flowers retain their vibrant color and shape, making them suitable for use in arrangements that showcase whole flowers. (Note: I made minor changes to improve clarity and fluency while keeping the original meaning intact.)

The harvested flowers are cleaned to remove excess stems and debris. They are then dried at low temperatures to preserve their original color and shape. After drying is complete, any broken or damaged petals are removed, leaving whole, intact blossoms ready for use in blends and storage.

The marigold flower is used in various ways, including: * Herbal infusions and blends * Culinary recipes * Natural coloring agents * Craft projects and decorative displays * Cosmetic formulations * Potpourri-style products * Educational herb collections The intact flowers add a natural visual element to mixtures and preparations where whole botanical forms are desired.
